YouTube Vanced — Final Build Still Working in 2026
Google shut Vanced down in 2022 but the last released build still runs on most Android devices tod Vay. Two files needed — grab both before you start installing anything.
YouTube Vanced has not received any updates since March 2022 when Google’s legal team forced the project to close. The build on this page is the final version ever released. It works on most devices running Android 5 through Android 13, but newer Android versions can run into login and playback issues. If your device runs Android 13 or above, YouTube ReVanced is a better fit since it is actively patched for newer systems.
Step 1 — download both files

Install 2ndVanced MicroG

Install 1stMicroG goes in before Vanced, no exceptions. Vanced has no direct access to Google Play Services so MicroG fills that gap and makes Google account login work. Get MicroG installed and confirmed working first, then move to the Vanced APK.
Step 2 — follow this order exactly
Allow installs from unknown sources
Go to your Android Settings and open Security or Privacy. Find Install from Unknown Sources and switch it on. Without this, your phone will block the APK files from running at all.
Install Vanced MicroG first
Open the MicroG APK you downloaded and tap Install. This file is a lightweight replacement for Google Play Services that Vanced needs to verify your account. Let it finish before touching anything else.
Install the Vanced APK
Open the YouTube Vanced file and tap Install. The install usually finishes in under 15 seconds. Leave the app closed for now.
Open Vanced and sign in
Launch YouTube Vanced, tap Sign In, and enter your Google credentials. MicroG handles the verification in the background so the login goes through without any errors. Your watch history, playlists, and subscriptions all carry over automatically.
